REQUIREMENTS
We believe you have experience in scripting and programming for automation and integration as well as configuration in different toolsets. You have a background in systems administration and understand the importance of application monitoring in an operational context for applications E2E observability. Operational experience with application performance monitoring with metrics/traces, synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring.
You understand how Observability solutions can be implemented and build to maximize value for application and platform teams.
- Passionate engineer with 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with
- Have experience both from system administration and development
- Availability monitoring and skills in RPA/APM, workflow builder tools and scripting
- Have growth and innovation mindset
- Have formal education as a Software/Systems Engineer or proven equivalent
What you'll be doing day to day
When you join us, you will be part of a visionary team managing the design and operation of our future at IKEA within the Observability area.
Together with the team, you will be responsible for the continued development of our performance and synthetic monitoring offerings. Supporting our customers in availability requirements, reporting and visualisations. Following market trends to explore, research and ensure we always stay on top to create impact and make a difference to all teams at IKEA.
Working in agile teams and across the capability area, contributing to the development and maintenance of integrations for E2E visualization of instrumented applications and critical flows.
Continues improving ways of working both individual and within the team. Making sure we do the right things.

We’re a small team working closely with our consumers and OI colleagues. We are quite autonomous, self-organizing and self-sufficient in many ways, which means part of our daily work is to define how we get things done together. We are based in Malmö, Älmhult and Dortmund, but a mix of local and remote work is not a problem.

Giving business and operations team support and insight into availability and performance of critical business applications and infrastructure enables successful delivery of service to our customers.
