This role is part of the Collaboration Tools technical product team in the Shared Application Services organization. Moody’s is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in working with Atlassian products. In this role, you will work closely with our developers and collaborate with users across the organization to create and implement new features and enhance existing ones.

Responsibilities:
• Managing user accounts and permissions within the Atlassian Enterprise Cloud environment, ensuring effective user provisioning, access control, and security protocols for seamless collaboration across diverse teams.
• Gathering requirements, investigating potential solutions, analyzing impact, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing Moody’s best practices
• Developing interfaces between external Applications with Atlassian infrastructure.
• Managing complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
• Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and briefing the team’s on new functionalities.
• Configuring and enhancing multiple Jira Service management sites.
• Enhancing Atlassian platform using Plugins such as Script runner, Automations, Xray, Structure, PowerBI to improve and speed delivery of products and services.
• Leveraging Jira APIs to dynamically create and customize dashboards, facilitating real-time data visualization and enhancing project management efficiency.
• Integration of third-party tools and services with Atlassian Cloud, enhancing workflow efficiency and collaboration by seamlessly connecting and automating processes across the organization.
• Troubleshooting Configurations and providing customer solutions for end user and application issues.
• Maintaining platform documentation such as user guides, system reference charts, and training materials.

Preferred Skills:
• 5+ years’ experience administrating and managing Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Atlassian Enterprise Platforms.

• Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-200, ACP-300) are a plus.
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) for automation.
