Responsibilities
Researches and analyzes the customers documentation requirements; creates doc plans; writes technical documentation
Performs risk analysis, identifies potential issues, and creates work estimates for doc projects
Quickly learns and adopts technology, tools, and processes in a fast-paced environment
Grasps complex technologies with a strong analytical and technical aptitude
Researches new trends in information and service delivery
Leads initiatives to improve content quality and usability and to improve team processes; contributes to strategy discussions
Applies proven leadership skills to team building and mentoring junior and intermediate writers
Implements information architecture methodologies and techniques
Consistently maintaining and updating shared documents with the latest status and progress details.
Proactively communicating any issues to my mentor or manager as needed to ensure effective problem resolution.
Engaging in CLI testing, with this task set to commence in the near future.
Collaborating with fellow team writers to coordinate tasks based on project requirements and team priorities.
Undertaking the responsibility of unpublishing and unwinding tasks as part of content management processes.
Demonstrates advanced skills in using DITA XMLbased authoring tools
Demonstrates in-depth understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Possesses in-depth understanding of telecommunications, cloud, and networking domains
Finds creative and practical solutions to complex problems related to the creation and maintenance of documentation sets
Works with limited or no supervision to pursue established goals and resolve issues as they arise
Adapts writing style to project requirements; applies principles of minimalism
Qualifications
Candidates must be well versed in DITA authoring and Publishing, XML tools, Networking technologies and Agile methodology.
A background in Cloud technologies is an asset.
Candidates must possess a strong technical aptitude to grasp complex technologies, specifically in the IT networking and software development domain.
Candidates must have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
