SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
Personal and Social:
- The individual shall demonstrate effective people engagement skills within a matrix organizational structure especially in dealing with individuals across functional units and various levels of seniority.
- The individual should be comfortable interacting with seasoned Bankers in supporting their marketing/communication needs.
- Should demonstrate prior experience of working within a regional team structure and be able to build strong connectivity with the global functional unit.
- Demonstrate humility and respect for all members and colleagues across functional lines.
- The individual should be approachable, affable and be willing to work closely with members of the team; he/she should keep open channels and not work with individual biases.
- The individual should have a stress resistant personality that works well under pressure
- The individual should be flexible in terms of working hours (working in the evening or on weekends for events and available for business trips)
- Have a strong oral and written communications skills in the English language. Any other language knowledge will be an added benefit.
Professional and Technical:
- A senior level marketing professional with at least 10-12 years of industry specific experience preferably with prior Private Banking experience or in the luxury sector.
- Private Banking and Wealth management experience a definite plus
- Demonstrate a creative mind-set and ability to execute the Bank's brand vision as per global standards in a regional setting
- Collaborate closely and independently with external providers for marketing needs.
- Detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of timeline responsibility and ability to multi-task or work on a few projects/events at any one point in time.
- Well-networked to be in a position to establish new contacts within Marketing and Communications and also be perceived by external parties to be a strong brand ambassador of the bank.
