As a SeniorProduction Designer at Target,

• You will be responsible for leading the execution and scaling of design programs for both Digital and Print (brochures, print ads) channels for Target's portfolio of exclusive brand offerings, while maintaining consistent brand standards, with a high level of design finesse.
• This role needs Digital and Print experience; you will need deep expertise of digital best practices, design tools and software in order to build efficiency and scale into the work.
• You will collaborate with creative teams in concepting and creating layouts, executing layout revisions, establishing toolkits or style guides, creating schematics or mock-ups & presentation decks for partner and leadership reviews.
• You will need to have the ability to understand business priorities and key aspects of the company/business strategy, along with the rest of the creative team.
• You will need to quickly comprehend large amounts of information and build simplified, well-designed visual presentations in any given presentation software. You should also be able to recommend the latest styles and techniques for the most impactful presentations.
• You must be experienced in photo and video shoot production. You should be able to collaborate and gather knowledge, in order to create robust pre-production decks, while driving efficiency and speed.
• You may also need to attend local photo shoots with creative teams to provide design support, execute on-set layout revisions and sometimes, assist with co-ordination and process.
• You will manage and execute project assets, image retouching and cropping, create keyline ready-files while working with separators/vendor partners. You will assist in proofing print ready mechanical files or web ready deliverables prior to live dates.
• You will help apply production execution rules to all work, layouts and print ready files including message hierarchy, branding elements, type-setting, photography and illustrations while ensuring quality and accuracy of work per standards and best practices.
• You will manage all production design details in order to meet project deadlines and successfully integrate and balance big picture with day to day work.
• You must have advanced English communication – spoken and written.

About you:

• 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
• 8 -12 years of experience at fast-paced environments like Ad Agencies, Retail e-comm (or equivalent)
• Expertise with iOS/MAC computer systems
• Deep expertise of Design (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Presentation tools (PPT, KeyNote)
• Basic knowledge of process and data visualization tools (excel).
• Proven track record of work demonstrating ability to adhere to brand expectations, applying fundamental design skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to extend detailed concepts across multiple formats and channels while applying proportions of scale and production rules to each.
• Strong success rate of receiving and interpreting design direction from creative partners.
• Experience in advising/guiding creative teams for efficiency or scaling assets.
• Successfully collaborates and performs duties by solving problems, applying critical thinking, presenting and clearly communicating role and project needs with partners and leaders.
• Proven track record of leading projects, operating effectively, efficiently and with minimal direction through ambiguity.
• Established success in simultaneously organizing and managing multiple large and small projects.
• Stays current on emerging style, graphic and industry trends, innovation, and advancement in the fields of branding, design, as well as tools and technology used to perform role.
