Position Responsibilities :
- We are seeking a bright, collaborative, and driven individual to join our growing Product Management Team for our architecture and engineering focused Ajera ERP software solution.
- Do you have a passion for project accounting and financials and a thirst for software product innovation? This team is looking to invest in someone who wants to embark on a journey into Product Management bringing your accounting expertise. You'll get involved in understanding client requirements, working closely with engineering team to translate those requirements into product features and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a successful launch of product features.
- You must have proven accounting knowledge and experience and have a huge thirst for personal and professional growth. Not for the faint hearted, this will be a fast paced and at times, intense role, involving working with internal and external product experts where you'll be expected to use your project accounting and project management experience to bring value to this challenge. Above all, you must love what you do! Must be open to Global working hours.
Who You Are :
- In-depth knowledge of project accounting processes including both project management, scheduling, cost accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with implementing or using an ERP software product and related technology a plus
- Proven success of building strong working relationships with cross functional teams
What You Will Do :
- Create and own product requirements; establishing a business case for overall need and prioritization
- Perform detailed requirement specifications for new enhancements for the Ajera product
- Work with key stakeholders across the organization to define and prioritize requirements for new features and enhancements
- Collaborate with our UX and Engineering teams to transform requirements into compelling product enhancements
- Attend daily scrums to help the Engineering team move forward on implementing enhancements
- Manage and prioritize bug backlog with key engineering leads
- Actively participate in product launch to gauge user adoption
- Assist our customer care organization with product questions and escalations pertaining to Ajera
- Assist the Cloud team in Ajera enhancements and escalations
- Assist in reviewing and managing customer ideas
- Create release readiness content
Qualifications :
- 5+ years' accounting or related experience
- Experience operating under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders' one on one, and in groups of varying size
- Strong problem-solving skills to research options and make decision on best path forward
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrate curiosity, humility, and empathy in all you do.
- A creative self-starter with a bias for action.
