Job Summary: MDM Technical Product Owner / Architect (Integrations) will oversee and optimize Master Data Management (MDM) technology framework at GSK for various data domains. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust MDM technology and its integrations to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across the organization. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce technical excellence, policies, standards, security supporting GSK's strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and implement master data management solutions using the latest tools and technologies. (SAP MDG, Reltio, Informatica etc.)
  • High collaboration & partnership with Technical and Business Process teams to design, document, and obtain approval for integration designs between various MDM/MDG SAP and non-SAP on-premises and cloud systems.
  • Guide the team to implement the best-in-class interfaces and stay up to date with the latest technologies. Articulate the best Practices in Integration within the team and as well to the multiple Solution Architects across all the platforms.
  • Contribute to integration architecture, strategy, design, and roadmap of all API / Integration needs of MDM/MDG solution with both SAP & Non-SAP cloud applications.
  • Drive the SAP basis admin teams to perform the Integration setup required between MDM/MDG, SAP and non-SAP systems to all the various integration tools.
  • Collaborate with ABAP COE, Solution Architects, Legacy System admins, Multiple Service partners and the Stakeholders to ensure the delivery of integration is in place.
  • Collaborate with Network, Infra and Security teams for seamless integration setup and work with Compliance tasks and questions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data mappings, and data integration workflows.
  • Implement data quality rules and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the MDM space, including gen AI.
  • Oversee MDM tools and technology selection and implementation for companywide governance of master data objects.
  • Accountable for managing a team of master data technologists (Internal or external or both) interfacing with various business functions and data platform teams.
  • Inspire and influence senior stakeholders on the impact of master data to significantly deliver business value for GSK.
  • Take an active role in advocating a Data Driven Culture and Data Literacy across Global Functions

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Overall 15+ years out of which 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing master data management solutions using MDM tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of application of generative AI in master data context is required.
  • Relevant Experience with MDM technologies like SAP MDG, Reltio, Informatica, Augmented Master Data Management with machine learning, workflow orchestration with SAP Fiori, Talend and Collibra is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience with SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI, SAP API Management, SAP API Business Hub, Open Connectors)
  • SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience or equivalent next-generation business transformation implementation with a focus on API-led and event-driven integration constructs
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of managing high performing teams, building relationships, and holding external service partners accountable
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and technology teams to manage master data effectively.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing complex master data management projects.
  • Demonstrate exceptional executive-level relationship building skills with strong ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated execution experience leading large-scale programs.
  • Leadership across a complex matrixed environment; Operating in a fast-paced business critical environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent persuasion, negotiation, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
