Role Description:
We are seeking a Head of Marketplace for our digital-first and futuristic brand. The goal of this role is to effectively establish and grow these brands within online marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategy for our presence on various online marketplaces, including product and category management and the selection of brand assortments.
- Achieve sales targets on partner platforms as a seller brand, with a particular emphasis on boosting secondary sales.
- Work closely with the marketing department to develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Coordinate across different functions such as Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to spot trends, assess performance metrics, and make accurate forecasts.
- Lead a team of Key Account Managers and operations executives to propel business growth.
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies by improving or introducing new processes for enhanced operational excellence.
Ideal Candidate:
- An MBA holder with 4-6 years of experience in E-commerce, preferably in managing online marketplaces for brands.
- A total of 8-12 years of professional experience.
- Exceptional communication skills are required to engage with and influence senior management.
- Proficient in stakeholder management and adept at navigating complex organizational structures.
- Hands-on experience and the ability to excel in a challenging and multifaceted work environment.
- An energetic self-starter capable of quickly adapting and delivering results from the outset.
