Then you might be the right person for Volvo Powertrain Engineering. We are looking for a passionate person who would like to work as a CFD Simulation Analyst, together with great colleagues.
Powertrain Engineering (PE) in Bangalore is a young team which was created in 2014. Since 2021, PE Bangalore has been repositioning itself to be recognized as a competent and innovative site within global Powertrain Engineering and GTT Bangalore providing end to end engineering solutions to all brands. Simulation and are at the high focus in Bangalore site strategy.
Who are you? Are we a perfect match?
To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver. You will be responsible to develop EATS CFD flow models and run simulations, do analysis as well as support with knowledge and recommendation. You will work close with colleagues in Bangalore as well as other Volvo sites around the world. You have the drive to continuously develop your personal abilities and behaviors.
You have experience from component and system simulations of including state-of-the-art tools and methods. You will be part of a cross-functional and international environment, with English as a natural language for written and spoken communication.
A merit is experience from the automotive industry, special drivelines, with great attitude working cross functional and have a willingness to learn and take more responsibility.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience in CFD simulation & analysis preferrable in EATS
- Software skill required: Star CCM+ or equivalent commercially used CFD simulation tools.
- Knowledge on optimization, python coding and Matlab is a merit
- Good understanding of Powertrain technology
- Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
- Be independent, pro-active, and continuously strive to improve.
- Good in presentation and communication skills
