Our client, a leading Global organization is scouting for a Senior Workday Consultant to be based in Mumbai
Role:
- Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Consultant with a strong background in Workday implementation and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) implementation.
- Candidates with an experience of working with Global companies, people of diverse cultures and geographies shall be preferred.
- The ideal candidate should have 12-15 years of relevant experience and possess deep knowledge of Workday modules and functionalities.
- The Workday Consultant will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of Workday solutions for our organization, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Identify the new business needs and review the options, risk and impact of the new process changes
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects of Workday solutions, including gathering requirements, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with all locations ands departments to understand their business needs, HR processes, and goals, and translate them into Workday configurations and solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive business process analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations.
- Configure and customize Workday modules based on requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and accuracy of Workday configurations.
- Conduct system training sessions for end-users and prepare user documentation and training materials as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and project stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and data migration between Workday and other systems.
- Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and functionalities, and provide recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday modules and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Manage projects/process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality
- Work on issue resolution, make recommendations for workarounds and proactively identify business process improvement opportunities
- Actively engage in problem management, identifying recurring patterns in incidents, raising problem records, documenting known errors, investigating root causes and resolution paths
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/PG degree in business administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Workday certification(s) in one or more modules.
- Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Workday Extend, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and calculated fields
Desired Experience:
- 12-18 years of hands-on experience implementing Workday solutions, including core HR, benefits, compensation, talent management, payroll, and time tracking modules.
- Proven experience leading full-cycle Workday implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with integrations between Workday and other systems, such as payroll providers and time-tracking systems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Experience working with multinational organizations or complex HR structures.
