Location- Borivali, Thane and Dadar

Summary:

An Ayurvedic Consultant's major responsibility is to treat patients according to protocol and provide good clinical practices to patients. They also act as a leader for the Clinical parts of a Centre, where they oversee the quality and efficiency of the services provided by the staff. They will also be accountable medico-legally.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Clinical Consultations: An Ayurvedic Consultant conducts consultations with patients to assess their health condition, medical history, lifestyle, and preferences. They diagnose the patients. They prescribe appropriate treatments, such as herbal medicines, dietary changes, yoga, meditation, massage, and panchakarma (detoxification). They monitor the progress and outcomes of the treatments and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Team Management and Team Development: An Ayurvedic Consultant leads and manages the clinical team, which may include other Ayurvedic practitioners, therapists, and assistants. They provide guidance, feedback, and training to the team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively and professionally. They also foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes the values and vision of the Centre.
  • Patient Awareness and Education: An Ayurvedic Consultant educates the patients about the benefits and principles of Ayurveda and how they can improve their health and well-being. They also raise awareness and promote the Centre's services and programs to the public through various channels, such as social media, podcasts, workshops, and events.
  • Performance Management: An Ayurvedic Consultant evaluates and reviews the performance of the clinical team and the Centre as a whole. They set and track the goals and objectives of the Centre and ensure they are aligned with the standards and expectations of the management. They also identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may affect the quality and efficiency of the services and the satisfaction of the patients.
  • Coordination with Clinical team and Center Manager: An Ayurvedic Consultant coordinates and communicates with the clinical team and the Center Manager on a regular basis. They report and update the Center Manager on the status and results of the clinical operations and the patient feedback. They also collaborate and consult with the Center Manager on the planning and implementation of the Centre's strategies, policies, and procedures.

Job Specifications :

Minimum Requirements

Education : B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)

Experience: 3 years and above of working experience in reputed organisations like “Ayurvedic centers” and “Wellness Centers”. The candidate should have a proven track record of providing high-quality Ayurvedic consultations and treatments to a diverse range of patients. They should also have experience in leading and managing a clinical team and handling medico-legal issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
