About the Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure), you will:

• Work with multiple Azure cloud technologies including Azure Blob Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Service Bus etc.
• Help implement solutions to provide a secure, cost-efficient, and resilient environment for applications running in Azure cloud.
• Guide multiple product teams to follow Azure cloud best practices and make them more productive in Azure cloud environments.
• Provide technical oversight to solution delivery in creating business-driven solutions adhering to the enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
• Suggest improvements to the current product architecture.
• Suggest, evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and methodologies needed to improve productivity and quality.
• Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, and diverse ideas, and partner with cross-functional and remote teams.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues of the product as needed.
• Suggest and implement effective logging and monitoring for products deployed on Azure.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to clearly state priorities and provide direction. 

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) if your background includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or MCA
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT industry
• Hands-on skill in Azure technologies
• Hands-on experience working with Azure Storage like Blob, Files etc.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, AKS, AGW, ASB etc. and relevant practical experience
• A solid understanding of Azure networking and security
• knowledge of Java/JVM and Spring/SpringBoot ecosystem.
• Excellent debugging skills in production environment based on available logs.
• Experience in either Datadog/Splunk or similar tool. Datadog skill is preferred.
• Exposure to Microsoft SQL server or similar RDBMS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English) 
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach other team members, guide them through complex issues.
