The Senior Analyst, Counterparty Credit Risk is critical to making this happen and will,
Ensuring Counterparty Credit Risk are holistically identified, monitored, and managed within the bank risk appetite.
Mitigate unexpected losses or surprises.
Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and internal deadlines.
Ensure an assessment of strategic fit and alignment with risk appetite can be performed.

What will your day look like
No unexpected losses
Support simplification initiatives
Ensure that adequate systems and infrastructure are in place to support all CCR related activities and regulatory compliance.
Day-to-day management, monitoring and reporting of exposure relating to the CCR portfolio.
Monitor the overall risk portfolio, routinely produce and coordinate reports for various risk related issues and general portfolio monitoring
Streamlining of reports.
Prepare regular scheduled reports including Senior Management Report and Regulatory Returns.

Good knowledge of Global Markets products and functions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and confidence to form and communicate reasoned opinions and debate those opinions as required.
Ability to multi-task, with good analytical and decision-making skills whilst working within tight deadlines.
Proficient with excel.
Strong quantitative abilities, able to understand mathematical models.
Resourcefulness, able to think rationally during stress.
‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences.
Experienced in Global markets
Experienced in Counterparty Credit Risk
Experience in Traded Market risk
Experience in project management, managing stakeholders and communicating with support teams
Basic coding capabilities
Qualifications
CFA or FRM or equivalent qualifications in finance / risk management
