Regularly monitor any changes to HIPAA & evolving changing data privacy regulations landscape and update compliance requirements and services accordingly based on Microsoft guidance and Azure features that support compliance with such changes.
Conduct thorough risk analyses Experience in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessment to identify potential privacy risk and security threats to Protected Health Information ePHIin the cloud and implement appropriate security, data privacy and protection safeguard measures to mitigate those risks.
Experience in managing privacy operations, Privacy by Design reviews and supporting internal stakeholders business functions
Experience in interpreting and reviewing privacy legal clauses/ terminologies and supporting business teams in complying with contractual and privacy regulatory obligations
Develop and implement security and related data privacy policies specific for these product including cookie management and procedures that are HIPAAcompliant and specifically address the unique risks associated with cloud-based storage and processing of PHI.
Experience in managing and handling Data Subject access requests DSARs specific in terms of handling PII PHI data
Prepare data privacy awareness mailers and Ensuring awareness of best practices and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular monitoring and audits, privacy control review in line with ISO27018 standards of the cloud environment to ensure that all security and privacy safeguards measures are in place and functioning effectively.
Create dashboards to provide clients and Virtusa stakeholders with up-to-date information on the overall security & privacy status posture of the infrastructure, enabling informed decision-making.
Follow up on any open action items related to security and privacy to ensure that any identified issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Validate the configuration of security tools and ensure that they are operating correctly to protect against intrusions and unauthorized access.
Establish a change management process that includes a security review for any changes to the cloud environment, ensuring that security is prioritized throughout the deployment lifecycle.
