- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) & Key risk indicators
- Manage team's daily work volumes and transactions accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures. Maintain excellent quality standards
- Partner with front offices, core operations, and technology teams globally
- Act as a subject matter expert on Equities Settlements, providing insight and understanding of complex inquiries from internal and external contacts
- Provide the highest level of service to our external client and internal stakeholders
- Serve as a primary point of contact for escalations, respond timely to internal / external stakeholders
- Maintain documented procedures and ensure adherence to and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
- Understand and comply with regulations, policies and procedures related to these process & functions
- Partner with global teams to perform root cause reviews, remediate issues, and update processes and procedures as necessary
- Staff Management and Planning: Responsible for staff performance development planning, resource planning and allocation and building an inclusive and collaborative culture
- Manage team performance, leading by example on key behaviors to motivate sustained results; this includes using performance management resources to proactively monitor, coach and develop employees, recognizing strong performers and managing those not meeting performance standards
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong experience and understanding in Equities/Fixed Income Settlements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Service Orientation: Adaptive Client and Communication skills: ability to present information in different degrees of detail and form depending on the audience; interpret client requests and propose solutions
- Negotiation: Advanced influencing/partnering skills: working on own, within a team, and through others
- Excellent employee management skill and ability to partner with business stakeholders across the organizations
- Ability to work effectively while managing multiple priorities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on driving business impact through data-driven insights
- Ability to adapt to, guide and support others through changing environments and possess the mindset to seek continuous improvement in processes and controls
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain relationship with internal / external stakeholders including trade, risk management, technology, legal and compliance and audit
- Strong experience and understanding in Equities/Fixed Income Settlements
- Certification in Derivatives or Securities Markets will be an added advantage
