You will be working as Sales Support and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Buildings division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Manager – Product and will be responsible for supporting the assigned sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Your responsibilities

  • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/sales specialists about ABB products/systems/applications
  • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
  • Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries
  • Supporting the sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers
  • Providing technical support to the sales team during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers and offers product/ solution/service-related training

Your background

  • Bachelor of Technology or diploma in electrical
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in handling receivables and customer accounts with business size of 4000 + Minr
  • Responsible for follow up with customers (direct & indirect) for payment collections, statutory requirements
  • Should possess experience in tools like SAP, CFIN & CRM
  • Responsible for accounting the payments internally and reconciliation of accounts
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
