Pre-Sales & Sales
- Prepare, create and maintain order / Sales Contract into SAP systems (V21 + Leverage + NAI) with all documentation relating to the order and subsequent documentation.
- Checking contracts as per RFQ / order received from Customer.
- Process orders and check that all technical, commercial, insurance and financial details are accurately detailed.
- Create order confirmations / invoices to complete order cycle and order file.
Production Status
- Ensure team follow up of production status + update to customers / stakeholders when required.
- Use of Steeluser/NetSteel for production status.
- Keep regular relations with N+1, AMI Partners (mills) & AM Logistics to obtain deal details on demand Spec/Shipment details (Nominations/ETD/ETA…).
Shipment (for direct business & open terms)
- Coordinate with the AMI Partner’s sales administration / Vendors, ensuring all the required shipping documents are ready and forwarded in due time as per agreed contracts.
- Coordinate as necessary in progressing where special action is required to avoid delay in critical situations.
- Keep customers advised of delivery lead times and liaise with supply chain functions.
- Claim Settlement in ARCH (register and issue of credit/debit notes to customers as per procedure).
- Create reports & orderbook status.
Rules and Procedure
- Ensure day to day administrative rules and procedures are strictly respected and followed.
- Monitor credit limits with regional sales administrators to ensure compliance.
- Check accuracy of pricing on all documentation and customer’s order, advise management in case of difference.
- Prepare the daily, weekly and monthly reports to support management.
Team Collaboration
- To provide back up and cover for the fellow order management colleagues when required.
Work experience requirements
- 5 years minimum in SAP / sales administration / contract management field for Import / Export.
