Job Summary: As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process, focusing on cold lead generation, meeting coordination, quotation management, follow-ups, and successful sales closure. Additionally, proficiency in utilizing the GEM (Government e-Marketplace) portal will be essential for this role. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and adept at leveraging digital platforms to enhance the efficiency of sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Cold Lead Generation:Conduct strategic outreach through various channels to identify and qualify potential leads.
Utilize market research and industry insights to target specific client segments.
Maintain accurate records of lead generation activities.
Meeting Coordination:Schedule and coordinate meetings between the sales team and potential clients.
Utilize the GEM portal for government-related meetings and collaborations.
Ensure seamless communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Quotation Management:Collaborate with the sales team to gather necessary information for creating detailed and customized quotations.
Utilize the GEM portal for quotation submissions and compliance.
Ensure accuracy and completeness in all quotation documents.
Quotation Follow-ups:Implement a systematic follow-up process to gauge client interest and address inquiries.
Leverage the GEM portal for efficient tracking and management of quotation follow-ups.
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
Sales Closure:Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and concerns.
Utilize the GEM portal for streamlined documentation and compliance in the sales closure process.
Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective negotiation and closing strategies.
GEM Portal Utilization:Demonstrate proficiency in navigating and utilizing the GEM portal for government procurement processes.
Stay updated on GEM portal guidelines and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure adherence to GEM portal protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in sales coordination with a focus on government procurement through the GEM portal.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, lead generation, and government procurement procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
