Position Description:
This position will support the quality assurance and control activities for the site’s nuclear quality program in compliance to applicable nuclear regulatory requirements. This position will report to the site’s Quality Manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support site nuclear quality program implementation and compliance.
- Compliance monitoring of nuclear product manufacturing QC (incoming, in-process and final inspection) and QA activities.
- RCA/CAPA management for nuclear product nonconformities and escapes.
- Support PAPP for nuclear product suppliers.
- Engage in nuclear Project specification reviews and ITP development.
- Engage in nuclear product performance test activities.
- Nuclear Project Quality Document oversight
- Engage in Site Nuclear Quality Program internal auditing
- Support Nuclear Regulatory and Customer Quality Audits
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing.) and minimum 12 years of overall work experience in quality of which minimum 4 years in nuclear quality role.
- Strong knowledge in AERB/SC/QA) Quality Assurance Program Requirements
- Proven technical specification review experience (Inspection test plan, Engineering drawing, CS drawing).
- Knowledge in measuring instruments required.
- QMS (ISO-9001) and supplier quality experience.
- Must have excellent communication, influencing and collaborative skills.
- Strong experience in PFEMA and Control Plan execution
- MS-Office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior quality experience in rotary equipment (pumps, valves) manufacturing.
- ASME BPVC Section III and ASME NQA-1 experience
- Quality certification applicable for the nuclear products/market.
- QMS Lead Auditor Certified
