Junior Qa Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Junior QA Automation Engineer, who will be responsible for creating and implementing automated test frameworks for our customer onboarding and customer portal products. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and efficient automated testing framework, helping to deliver the best customer experience for our global customer base.

Primary Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Implementing a Java based automated testing framework that encompasses quality and agility
• Refining User Story requirements and parameters to identify inconsistencies or gaps in requirements
• Providing accurate estimates on scope and duration of testing of specific features and regression
• Working with a QA Lead, QA Automation Engineers, and Manual QA testers in an Agile environment to ensure QA testing is comprehensive and timely
• Working with technical development counterparts, as well as with non-technical Business Analysts
• Obtaining company sponsored certification(s) for applicable products

Requirements
Essential:

• Extensive experience building and implementing automated testing frameworks for customer facing products and API integrations in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Extensive experience with Java based Selenium automated testing frameworks
• High level of proficiency with Jira, Github, IntelliJ IDE, Cucumber, Maven
• Proficient experience with Postman, Jmeter, RestAssured
• Proficient experience with SQL
• Computer Science Degree or related
• Fluent English written and communication skills
• 0 - 1 year of experience

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration
• Knowledge of Microservices
