Python Developer - Pandas/Numpy - Logistics Domain

Python DeveloperExp - 2 to 5yrsJob Location - BangaloreWe are currently looking for a Python developer with a strong data science background.The candidate would collaborate with our Product Management team in Atlanta, USA, and with the technology and QA teams at offshore to implement our current & upcoming product features and innovative logistics and optimization solutions.Role / Responsibility :- Translate complex analytical and technical concepts into code, and help derive workable solutions for optimization in the Logistics Domain.- Integrate and extracts relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data (internal and external) to enable analytical solutions.- Support Subject Matter Experts (SME's) on efforts to develop scalable, efficient, automated solutions for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation.- Display positive attitude in the face of aggressive timelines and having sense of pride in meeting delivery timelines with utmost quality Requirements- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field- 2 to 4 or more years of related experience and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects- Working experience in Combinatorial Optimization (CO) using heuristic algorithms.- High Level of Proficiency in Python, numpy, pandas, matplotlib and related Python numerical eco-system.- Expertise in pivoting, sorting and presenting data in graphs, charts, tables, etc.- Experience in Supply Chain industry- Experience in the working with Machine Learning and AI methods and techniques.- Prior experience building optimization products in the Supply Chain Logistics domains- Experience with a start-up is preferred Technical Expertise- Programming Language : Python- Must have Flask framework experience.
