The Opportunity:
We are looking for Python developer to join our highly motivated team. We want dynamic people and encourage candidates with a diverse variety of experiences and history. People who have the motivation to develop as well as automate product deployments which are part of OpenText ecosystem and deliver value to our customers. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope.
You are great at:
- Latest Python coding standards and automation techniques. Strong Python coding with good troubleshooting skills.
- Basic Networking concepts, DB Concepts and Server OS concepts.
- Experience in testing the developed automation solution and facilitate their deployments to customers.
- REST/SOAP APIs and their consumption using Python programming.
- JSON/XML/YAML for data exchange with external systems.
- Good knowledge of dockers and containers.
- Implementing automation principles through Python coding.
- Python automated testing techniques and test cases
- Database installations, migrations involving PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.
- Containerized technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and podman.
- Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline, basic DevOps concepts.
- Demonstration of features, capabilities, and solutions to clients.
- Any OT product knowledge like CyberRes suite OBM, SiteScope, OPTIC, NNMi, UCMDB, SMAX, HCM, Documentum,
- Experience in working with Product Support and R&D for product related issues.
- Archive Center are preferred.
What it takes:
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study.
- At least 2+ years of experience with Python coding.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience in working with other members at remote locations (International).
- Time flexibility for meetings that may be conducted outside local business hours.
- Demonstrated technical documentation skills - technical documentation, release notes, user guides, test plans, test results summary document etc.
