Job Description - Project Manager
Airbus Innovation Center - India & South Asia will be responsible for industrializing disruptive technologies by tapping into the strong engineering competencies center while also leveraging and co-creating with the vibrant external ecosystems such as mature startups/MSMEs, national labs & universities and strategic partnerships (customers, suppliers etc.).
The technology focus areas that the Innovation Center will focus on are - decarbonization technologies, artificial intelligence, industrial automation, unmanned air systems, Connectivity, Space Tech, Autonomy etc. among others.
The Project Manager in the Airbus Innovation Centre will work closely with all the product owners and help track development milestones, timelines, associated budgets, all gate reviews and support the HO Airbus Innovation Centre with reporting progress to the sponsors.
Your main responsibilities
To lead, direct and coordinate project management activities for Airbus Innovation Centre India & South Asia (AIC)
To setup/establish and maintain the tools and process for AIC project management
Responsible for compliance of the tools and process of AIC project management
Responsible for ensuring all AIC project plans and budgets are consistent with project requirements and context.
Develops and manages operating budgets as appropriate and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses
Monitors risks vs deliveries and ensures adequate mitigation plans, escalate issues and facilitate project reviews with every stakeholder.
Coordinates and oversees timely deliveries while keeping a watch on cost and quality.
Work with cross functional teams on assigning tasks, establishing project deliverables and scheduling of those tasks and deliverables.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and their respective project teams complexity and backgrounds through the entire Project Life Cycle.
Collect and consolidate management data/reports in order to track performance against AIC goals and strategy.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Business Administration, project management with 7-9 years of experience directly related to the specified responsibilities
Project management certification is preferred
Multi-project management/portfolio management experience
Virtual collaboration capabilities
Good in communication and Experience developing & delivering executive level presentations
Team player who enjoys closely working with others

- Masters’ Degree
- 10+ Years of work experience in technology and business development
- Team management experience
