Job Purpose:
To implement the Integrated Business Planning platform and stabilize the SNOP processes for Advanced Material Business.
Job Context:
With rising complexity on account of increased Customers, Number of Products & SKUs, Raw materials & Suppliers and unanticipated disruptive demand supply scenarios, current approach limits our ability to deliver. This is mainly on account of:
- Planning across different parts of business is not integrated.
- Ability to generate Scenario based plans and subsequent execution is challenging, leading to un-balanced RM, FG stock resulting in excess Inventory impacting working capital.
- Longer lead times in supplies as well as demand limits agility
- Limited ability to plan integrated production & distribution requirements to optimize cost to serve, thus limiting visibility of margin impact
Given the velocity and variety of risks in VUCA world impacting business on a daily basis, there is a need to build an agile, connected, intelligent and resilient integrated Business Planning capability for business for all the Manufacturing sites with focus on Margins, Inventory, Customer Fulfillment and Creating automated Alerts/Dashboards. Hence Integrated Business Planning solution needs to be implemented for AM Business globally. Program Manager is expected to spearhead the implementation of Integrated Business Planning platform and also stabilize the SNOP processes in the context of IBP.
