Koita Foundation (www.koitafoundation.org) is a not-for-profit organization founded 6 years ago by Rizwan Koita and Rekha Koita. Rizwan (LinkedIn) is the co-founder & ex-CEO of CitiusTech (www.citiustech.com), a global leader in healthcare technology and one of the Unicorns in India. Rizwan (an alumnus of IIT Bombay and MIT) is the recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2013) and the recipient of the 2002 Indo-American
Society's 'Young Achievers Award in Business'. Rekha (LinkedIn), a recipient of IIT Bombay's Distinguished Services Award in 2019, has a background in management consulting and corporate training, and specialises in business process consulting. Koita Foundation focuses on two key areas - Digital Health and NGO Transformation.
Digital Health: KF partners with leading academic institutions, hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and NGOs to drive Digital Health adoption in India. In 2021, KF partnered with IIT Bombay, India's #1 academic institution, to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Health (www.kcdh.iitb.ac.in). KF is working on multiple Digital Health initiatives on a national scale e.g., working with Government of India's ABDM initiative (www.abdm.gov.in) on their national roll-out, working with NABH (www.nabh.co), India's large accreditation body for hospitals, to support their Digital Health initiatives, and with the National Cancer Grid (NCG) KF by jointly to establishing the Koita Centre for Digital Oncology (www.kcdo.in) with the vision to leverage Digital Health technologies to meaningfully improve cancer care in India.
NGO Transformation: Koita Foundation works with NGOs with proven operating models and collaborates with them to scale effectively and improve program outcomes. KF helps NGOs to digitally transform their operations and use advanced data and analytics to drive organisational performance and impact, which are key success factors for sustainable growth. KF today works with over a dozen NGOs across healthcare, education, and livelihood segments.
Koita Foundation (KF) is looking to improve program scale and outcomes in areas of education, livelihood and healthcare through the strategic use of technology. We do this through our work with NGOs in the sector along with enhancing impact of government programs. We work closely with NGOs to understand where use of technology can have the maximum impact. We partner with them in their journey of digital transformation right from selection of the tool up to implementation and roll out.
We are searching for a Program Manager to drive our digital transformation projects with our NGO partners. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual with strong skills in program design and implementation. The Program Manager should have skills to ensure that system design, testing and implementation is done within time, cost and quality budgets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be required as the role involves collaborating across multiple entities.
Responsibilities :
NGO Leadership Engagement:
- Engage with NGOs leaders to develop a core set of priorities areas
- Ensure engagement of NGO leadership in driving overall programs
- Build strong relationship with NGO leaders to ensure their involvement and support
- Define and track key success metrics and outcomes
- Identify project's critical success factors and align key stakeholders at the start of the program
Program Design and Implementation:
- Engage with NGOs and their operations and field team
- Co-ordinate meeting set up & ensure prior prep before meetings
- Facilitate discussions define project's success factors and key stakeholders in the start of the program
- Develop overall project requirements - understand NGO needs, participate in requirements gathering meetings, develop requirements - wish list, final requirements and work arounds
- Co-ordinate with Tech vendor and NGO to finalise design and ensure systems development within timelines
- Create a conducive and collaborative environment to facilitate successful program completion
- Conduct end-to-end testing of application to ensure compliance to needs
- Handhold NGOs through the implementation process to ensure system adoption and usage; facilitate user issue resolution and user recognition
- Proactive program risk management - identifying and possibly assisting in mitigating potential risks and challenges (incl. timeline and budgets)
Provide Post-implementation coverage:
- Track system usage
- Define and track key metrics and outcomes
- Identify performance gaps and work with NGOs to fix issues
- Receive, review, and discuss additional requirements
Managing External Communications:
- Manage social media handles
- Ensure review and update of website content
- Work with marketing/other agencies for video and other content
- Ensure creation of case studies and presentations as required
Program Manager - Requirements and skills:
- Education - BE/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA
- Over 4 years' experience in project or program management/ consulting
- Strong problem-solving skills esp. ability to simplify complex issues
- Strong English communication skills - spoken & written
