Production Manager (Fasteners/Ludhiana)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Manage a team of 25-30 production personnel, including training, motivation, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Monitor production processes to identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures within the production area.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production efficiency.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control) to ensure seamless production flow.
• Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
• Prepare production reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in the fasteners industry.
• Proven track record of increasing production efficiency and meeting output targets.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
