Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage a team of 25-30 production personnel, including training, motivation, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes to identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures within the production area.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control) to ensure seamless production flow.
- Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in the fasteners industry.
- Proven track record of increasing production efficiency and meeting output targets.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
