Process Engineer- Wiring Harness

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Wiring Harnesses to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing processes associated with Wiring Harnesses, with a focus on medical cables. Familiarity with UL approval processes, the ability to issue precise process guidelines, and a background in manufacturing plants dedicated to Wiring Harnesses are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expertise in Manufacturing Processes: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in Wiring Harnesses, with a specific emphasis on medical cables.
2. Medical Field Experience: An added advantage if the candidate has experience in manufacturing cables for medical applications.
3. UL Approval Process: Thorough understanding of UL approval processes related to Wiring Harnesses.
4. Process Guidelines: Ability to develop and issue clear and effective process guidelines to the manufacturing line for the production of Wiring Harnesses.
5. Plant Experience: Previous work experience in a manufacturing plant dedicated to Wiring Harnesses.
6. Standards Awareness: Familiarity with industry standards such as AWG, ISO 13485, UL approvals, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
7. Work Order Management: Proficient in handling work orders for the manufacturing of leads and wire circuits.
8. Drawing Interpretation: Capable of reading and understanding Wiring Harness and medical cable drawings in-depth.
9. Process Optimization: Identify and document complicated processes, determining takt time for each process & action to optimise
10. Over Moulding Process: Understanding of the over-moulding process related to Wiring Harness manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience 5-8 years
• Proven experience in manufacturing processes related to Wiring Harnesses.
• Familiarity with industry standards and quality control procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
