Job purpose
The Practice Development Specialist will be responsible for implementing & managing the ZEISS Practice Development Program within the assigned territory in India resulting in increased advocacy for ZEISS equipment & consumables increasing device utilization and gaining the SOW for IOLs
The incumbent is expected to strategize & execute the PDC journey at ZEISS in line with our global strategy across the entire customer journey in MED. This role will include working with regional & global stakeholders in addition to collaborating with various teams in India to enhance effective understanding, communication & uptake of solutions from ZEISS.
Main Accountabilities
· Develop, implement, and manage the ZEISS Practice Development Program within the assigned region in India following ZEISS global guidelines.
· Train and mentor sales team across customers in the region
· Organize PDC events (training, workshops, webinars) in the region.
· Provide the PDC services to refractive practices according to ZEISS strategic planning.
· Develop action plans to accelerate the penetration of ZEISS Ophthalmic Workflow Solutions in the region.
· Assist our customers in increasing device utilization and achieving business efficiency and profitability.
· Closely collaborate with Regional Sales Teams and Regional Clinical Application Managers to ensure a consistent, unified approach with regards to customer interactions throughout the region, selection of practices, and establishment of the Practice Development Program at a regional level
· Guide and manage activities with regards to the execution of the PDC program.
· Visit new and existing PDC customers on a regular basis in the region together with Sales accountability for the growth in the region for consumable business
· Enhance Premium IOLs conversion rate, growing patient awareness, and market penetration.
· Identify positive and negative trends with social listening and the impact on business performance and build strategy for the same
· Develop PDC ambassadors in the region to strengthen the relationships with the practices, add value and strengthen the ZEISS brand.
· When required develop PDC training which fits best the practice needs and local culture in collaboration with the Global PDC Team.
· In collaboration with the Global PDC Team develop new PDC material according to demand and Provide feedback, reports, and support to the Global Practice Development teams regarding status of PDC activities in the region.
Experience / Skills
· Minimum 2-6 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device industry or previous experience working in a medical practice as a Practice Manager, Clinical Marketing Manager / Sales or Patient Experience Manager
· Previous experience in the areas of digital marketing, sales, healthcare management
· Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking coupled with a data-driven mindset
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and consulting skills
· Experience in training individual or groups and public speaking
· Strong problem-solving skills & strategic thinking with the ability to exercise mature judgement
· Strong entrepreneurial skills and self-driven; able to find pragmatic solutions with strong commercial acumen
· Positive attitude and passion that energizes customers and colleagues alike
· Advanced Working knowledge and experience of MS Office applications
