Job Description


  • Corporate DevelopmentFinancial Due Diligence Specialist plays a key role in Accenture’s inorganic growth strategies.
  • Works closely with North America and Europe FDD teams, performing high quality diligence and analysis for acquisitions, joint venture, and equity investments.
  • Focus on analyzing the quality of target company earnings, operating metrics, debt and debt-like items and net working capital, which may influence the outcome of the transaction.
  • Review, analysis, and preparation of key financial documents from the virtual data room (data book, data pack)
  • Perform key operating and financial analysis, attend target meetings, negotiation calls along with Europe and NA teams (whenever time zone permits) and prepare initial NWC.
  • Working closely with regional Financial Due Diligence team to provide advice to the Corporate Development team related to key deal issues impacting the business case and/or integration.
  • Provide continuity/transition to the post-merger integration and operational finance teams post-closing. 
  • Shift timings: Varies between 11am to 8pm and 9am to 6pm (Depending upon the deal)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Supported multiple Financial Due Diligence projects.
  • CA/CPA/MBA/CFA (preferred)

Professional Skills:


  • This highly visible position requires exceptional drive and energy, strong financial and analytical skills, hands-on experience with mergers and acquisitions (including Financial Due Diligence), project management skills, highly effective verbal and written communications skills and familiarity with merger and stock purchase agreements.
  • Advanced financial analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional services or consulting in major accounting/financial firm
  • Prior Financial Due Diligence experience is preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
