Category Manager - Transit Business

The endeavor is to provide the best-in-class consumer and partner experience and develop deep partnerships to drive various business priorities.
The role is fit for someone with strong business intuition, stakeholder management, an analytical and growth-focused mindset, and the ability to build long-lasting partnerships
Key responsibilities:
- Business development with key partners for transit use cases including closure of the commercial deals, agreements, integrations
- Planning for a best-in-class user experience with internal and external partners and program management of integration and go-live
- Be accountable for all business metrics of the category along with all key inputs which would drive the business. Also identify growth levers and plan a product roadmap for the category
- Drive execution of key growth initiatives planned including marketing, offers and funnel interventions. Should have a strong product/ solutioning orientation and an ability to work with internal product and engineering teams to accomplish these objectives
- Liaison with Business finance and Analytics functions to define and track the day-to-day KPIs for growth of the business, as well as create long term business plan for the category
- Coordinate with Regulatory, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to applicable guidelines and policies
- Design and create a reporting mechanisms for leadership reviews
Eligibility:
- MBA from a premier institute
- 5 plus years of experience in managing end-to-end categories with experience is generating revenue, preferably at growing startups
- Understanding of the payments and transit domain as well as the competitive landscape is preferred
