Position Overview
Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
We as Payment and Cards offer products which our customer use daily and billions of time. We do not only ensure the usage of well-known payment methods like credit cards, SEPA or Apple Pay for millions of customers but work on the modernization of payment and card business with products like Instant, Mobile or Third Party Payments using state of the art technologies like rest services, google cloud or APIs.
We look for a Site Reliability Engineer who is going to maintain, enhance and support the monitoring, availability and production stability of the card and payment frontend for Private Bank Germany. You will be responsible for this for the frontend itself, the backend-for-frontend, as well as the underlying Web Service and API connections.
You will be part of a team, consisting of Engineers, Business Functional Analysts, and a product owner in India, driving the technology transformation of the German Cards Landscape in cooperation with the credit card squad and other tribes.

Your Key Responsibilities
- To maintain, enhance and support the monitoring, availability and production stability of the card and payment frontend for Private Bank Germany
- To develop together with the project team monitoring strategies to ensure stability and high availability for the products end-to-end
- You are responsible for the CI/CD pipeline
- You take care of incidents and take care of its resolution.
- You will ensure production stability in deployments and releases
Your Skills & Experience
- Relevant university degree in e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, Design
- At least 2 years’ experience in Java and/or Java Script
- Experience with production management and/or system improvement.
- Knowledge to setup monitoring rules and alerts with different tools
- Experience of working in multi-discipline teams with Business/Product Owners and Engineers.
- Language skills: English
