Job Description
2-3 Years of experience on Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Database Administrator (DBA).
He will be responsible for providing support and maintenance for the Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and 19c environment.
This includes performing routine tasks such as user management, monitoring the system's performance, services and assisting in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
WebLogic Administration
Good Understand of RAC Databases
Good Understanding of Data Guard
The DBA will collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the stability, reliability, and security of the EBS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Installation and Configuration:
Assist in the installation and configuration of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and 19c databases.
Apply patches and updates as required.
Performance Monitoring and Tuning:
Monitor database performance and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Backup and Recovery:
Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
Perform Cloning from Production to Non Production instances
Security and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the EBS database environment.
Generate reports on system performance and database health.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite 12c,19c databases.
Knowledge of Oracle database administration, backup and recovery
Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Oracle Database Administrator Certification (OCP).
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud-based database solutions.
