NetApp’s Astra Program is looking for talented Software Engineers to join our team. We are looking for someone who can thrive as part of a high-performance team delivering creative solutions to the most profound data challenges that customers face. You will develop and test managed services to be deployed as containers in Kubernetes and work with various public and private cloud providers.

Job requirements

• Participate in technical discussions within the Engineering team and across functions.
• Develop test cases for new features.
• Write automated tests for features in Python.
• Develop tools and libraries to help with automating Test cases.
• Enhance Automation Framework.
• Troubleshoot CI failures and identify root cause for Test failures

Skill requirement

• 2+ years of experience in product quality, testing methodologies, and having the customer perspective on technical/complex software solutions.
• Proficiency in Python (or other scripting languages), with a focus on test automation.
• Experience with a Test Automation Frameworks and Test Driver Development.
• Experience with implementing, developing, writing and executing functional and system level test plans, test cases and test reports.
• Expert with Linux or other Unix-like Operating Systems with ability to troubleshoot basic network and/or storage issues.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, CI build systems and Automated Testing.

• Good understanding of concepts related to storage architecture.
• Experience in Agile Software Development practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to work on, troubleshoot, and solve, complex problems.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment.
