Merisis is foraying into the Wealth Management space. We intend to cater to HNW and UHNW clients. Trust and long-term commitment forms the core of our strategy. Your excellent strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, superb people skills, along with effective stakeholder management and a keen eye for detail is what enables you to effectively manage and deliver results for a wide and diverse group of stakeholders. You will be self-motivated and able to effectively manage deadlines, consistently deliver on your numbers, deal with a multitude of different tasks concurrently and prioritize appropriately. In addition, you will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate strong relationship building skills with both internal departments and external parties.
Key Responsibilities of the role holder:
In this key role, the incumbent will act as an experienced and trusted representative of Merisis Wealth to its clients and deliver a range of bespoke services to high profile and successful HNWs and UHNWs through meaningful Product differentiation and Advisory services.

Key responsibilities include:
- Create a trusted, collaborative, and mutually beneficial working relationship dedicated to the preservation and growth of client wealth
- Build a deep understanding of the client's present and future investment needs, anticipating the client's needs as it relates to their overall investment strategy
- Play an active role to promote and implement managed investment services
- Work closely with RM to develop bespoke roadmaps for clients on asset allocation which are in line with client risk profile, Merisis Wealth investment strategy and local regulations
- Pro-actively identify, investigate and resolve client, RM and partner inquiries
- Provide active support in marketing and client acquisition strategies
- Apply initiative and creativity to develop collaterals to pitch our investment capabilities to prospects
- Promote awareness and understanding amongst RMs and clients on new product offerings
- Profitably grow the client base and increase assets under management
- Network regularly with existing clients and internal / external referral sources to build new relationships and gain referral business
- Co-manage all aspects of the client relationship and portfolio on an ongoing basis to maximize client retention and growth of assets
- Be abreast of the latest market trends, evaluate portfolios and propose suitable investments options to clients
- Regularly monitor clients' portfolio to ensure alignment to needs and risk tolerance
- Take a lead role to bridge communication channels between Product specialists, RMs and clients
- Leverage on after sales service and feedback to actively support RMs in product penetration and market share
- Proactively identify clients needs and corresponding opportunities to realize business potential
- Ability to handle frequently changing or competing priorities
- Ability to address multiple needs of families and individuals
- Investment Counsellor Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Finance / Business / Accounting disciplines
- MBA / MMS / PGDM (full time) in Marketing / Finance
Licensing or Certifications: Hold one or more of the below valid certifications
- NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors module)
- NISM Series X-A (Investment Adviser - Level 1)
- NISM Series X-B (Investment Adviser - Level 2)
- NISM Series XXI-A: PMS Distributors
- NISM Series XXI-B: Portfolio Managers
- NISM Series XIX-A: AIF (Category I and II) Distributors+
- NISM Series XIX-B: AIF (Category III) Distributors+
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Charter Holder), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Financial Planner (CFP) would be an added advantage
Experience
- Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and presentation tools
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial markets of which at least 6+ years' client facing experience, preferably in Private Banking
- Must possess outstanding communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to persuade and must be a self-starter
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years' relevant experience, or Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years' relevant experience
- A commitment to providing elite service
- A desire to develop longstanding relationships as opposed to selling products

Desired skills for Investment Counsellor include:
- Well versed with competitive environment including knowledge of competitors' product and service capabilities
- Awareness of local regulatory policies and guidelines around Investment Advisory v/s Distribution
- Knowledge on Taxation aspects for Investment products
