Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Heavy Machines for on-site purposes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling, maintaining, and servicing heavy machinery such as Poclains, JCBs, cranes, excavators, compactors, and other similar equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach and in-depth knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanisms.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of heavy machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow up with scheduled service checks and preventive maintenance routines to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing timely and accurate solutions.
- Operate heavy machinery as required, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure machinery is available and functional according to project timelines.
- Continuously update knowledge on heavy vehicle mechanisms and industry advancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards always.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering, specifically with Heavy Machines.
- Proficiency in the maintenance, operation, and repair of heavy machinery like Poclains, JCBs, cranes, etc.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to project needs.
- Ability to relocate to Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
