Purpose of the Job

- Plan and implement sales strategies and conduct sales forecast. Have thorough understanding and familiarity with a variety of the target market segments’ key players, business practices and procedures, and buying trends. Manager Sales Retail - Composites will be responsible for developing and expanding retail distribution across the region. Identify and recruit new distributors. Ensure market development in the vicinity of the distributors and maximum offtake of our products. Planning of local promotional activities for generating interest among probable customers. Constant interaction with the local OEMs for adoption of our products. Get customer insights and share the same with the marketing team for developing market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to penetrate key markets.
- Constantly work with distributors and retailers to maximise sales opportunities
- Identify competitive intensity, product offerings and map possible product market opportunities in each of these segments
- Effective distribution planning, product push, distributor engagement, manage conflicts, incentive design to ensure maximum sales through the retail distribution setup
- Forecasting of sales offtake every month and ensuring converting the same to revenue by end of month
- Deliver the weekly, monthly revenue plan
- Plan local sales promotion and deliver the same
- Ensure distributor engagements for maximising sales and drive incentive programs for maximum earnings
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping in mind supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Co-ordinate with all cross functional teams within and outside of our department to generate synergy, build efficiency and replicate success
- Ensure timely payment collection and attend customer service issues and requirements and deliver prompt actions to minimise customer discontent and maximise customer satisfaction
Skills
1. Thorough sales experience of handling B2B distribution network across different territories, extensive exposure of recruitment of distributors and managing them.
2. Candidates should have good sales experience.
Technical Competencies
1. Knowledge of composites is an added advantage.
2. Knowledge of SAP is preferable
3. Excellent knowledge on MS Office
Other details
Degree in Engineering or equivalent/MBA, MBA in Marketing & Sales is preferable from AICTE/UGC recognized institutes
