Responsibilities
• Update and develop elements of the documented management system• Provide technical support for risk mitigation• Develop and implement safety standards across the business• Standardize systems and practices• Develop and implement training modules• Conduct OHS audits and manage audit data• Recommend revisions to safety procedures• Guide site EHS team on organizational requirements• Implement safer ways of operations• Participate in major projects and accident investigation• Implement critical safety systems and audit their effectiveness• Prepare periodic OHS reports• Facilitate incident investigation and corrective actions• Support site in developing effective CAPAs• Analyze and review monthly safety performance• Conduct employee engagement activities
Requirements
• Graduate in Engineering (preferably Fire/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering) and Diploma in Industrial Safety• About 8-12 years of experience in industrial Safety• Technical experience in fire, chemical & machine safety engineering• Thorough knowledge of safety and health standards• Working knowledge of safety and health IT tools• Knowledge of ISO 45001• Thorough understanding of regulatory and legal requirements• Analytical skills• Proficient in using MS Office• Good observation and auditing skills
