Title: Manager - NOC Operations
Total experience: 10-15 Years experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing day to day network operations and maintenance, in the respective areas of Network/SDWAN/Cloud and security/Unified Collaboration/Mobility and IoT/other domains. This includes- customer change requests, platform uptime, incident management, problem management, CFT / OEM Interlock, and escalation support for the operations. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on day-to-day operations and capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.
- Provide Tier 3 support to NOC in chronic and critical issues.
- Managing Wet Plant such as Fault localization, Repeater and BU manageability and preparation of MOP for readiness during any catastrophe.
- Manage specifically assigned critical Planned Event
- Preparing Incident Report, RFO and RCA for critical event and release of Service Improvement plan if applicable.
- Periodic performance analysis of Supplier and Vendor, feedback on Improvement initiatives
- Support quality improvement projects and impart technical training to team.
- This role transvers across different technologies
- Co-ordinate NOC activities during cable emergencies
- Handle in-system restoration, using own resources of this cable
- Ensure external system restoration - depending upon the availability of
- Resources and economic viability in the region.
- Experties in SDH/DWDM/OTN technology/ NMS and in depth troubleshooting skill
- Good knoowledge in Ciena 6500/ Infinera /Tejas
- 7-8 years of experience in Tx domain
