Role & responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to SEZ regulations, policies, and procedures in all logistics activities.
• Manage and facilitate customs clearance processes for inbound and outbound shipments within the SEZ.
• Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize holding costs and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate transportation activities, including route planning, carrier selection, and shipment tracking, to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch, to maintain efficient logistics workflows.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers and vendors to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify potential risks in logistics operations and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard against disruptions.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate documentation related to logistics operations, including invoices, shipping documents, and compliance records.
• Continuously assess logistics processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Candidate requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in logistics operations, with a focus on SEZ compliance and management.
• In-depth knowledge of SEZ regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
