Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Drafting and Negotiation of legal contracts
2. Litigation minimum experience of 1 year.
3. Assigning court cases to different panel lawyers keeping in view the nature and importance of the cases.
4. Supervising and monitoring the contesting of the cases in various courts of law and to have interaction with Panel Lawyers, Courts.
5. Advising in the matter of preferring of appeals in High court and City Civil Court in the matter of taking recourse to other legal remedies
6. Assisting the operational departments in preparing of reply to legal notices received
7. Advise on contract status, legal risks and business terms of various deals.
8. Ensuring proper contract stamping and registration of all the agreements including all execution formalities.
9. Monitoring the lifecycle of all the contracts.
10. Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its affiliates.
11. Ensure Compliance to Applicable laws.
12. Prepare weekly report on status of the pending works.
13. Knowledge of court proceedings.
14. Drafting of Legal Notices, Reply Notices, Documentation, Draft preparations for Notices, Sale Deeds Memorandum of Understandings, Lease Deed, leave and License.
15. Preparation of Legal Opinions on property issues and also in all other related queries etc.
16. Planning & Co-ordination Agreement for Registration process.
Job Highlights
- Proficient in translation of the legal documents from Kannada language to English and vice versa.
- Good Knowledge of computers and Internet with good typing speed.
- Good communication skills, especially in English and Kannada both in oral and in written form.
