- HR Operations Lead is responsible for managing and executing HR operational activities within an organization. This role involves handling employee data, HR systems administration, HR reporting, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. The HR Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting HR processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing operational support to the HR team and employees Purpose that Creates Impact(Contributing to Tintos global Strategy while Impacting lives of millions) Meaningful Work ( Personally, fulfilling while helping you to find your purpose)

- Quality of Life( Life beyond work which prioritizes employees happiness and wellbeing through constant support) A People Centric Culture(Encourages curiosity and makes empathetic leaders) What would you be responsible for: - HR operations o Lead the Rio Tinto India HR operations, program & initiatives and implement the same to support the achievement of HR goals.

- Lead, manage and govern the Rio Tinto India employee policies, implement the same and bring in industry view and best practices on HR policies o Lead the Rio Tinto India employee data management and manage the legal regulations and compliances of the India region

- Administer and maintain HR systems, such as the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), , and other tools o Manage the day-to-day operations of HR processes, including employee onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and data management o Oversee & execute the employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave management, and other related benefits.

- Responsible for design and maintenance of India wide employees reports and dashboards. o Responsible for managing all internal and external HR audits - Global operations support o Responsible for smooth functioning of our HR officer pool

- To Identify global processes and policies issues and plan for appropriate interventions, Provides coaching to team members and increase their efficiency w.r.t. global process execution.

- Overall responsibility for HR service delivery, including issue resolution and driving process improvement.

- Identifies process issues and appropriate interventions. Provides coaching to leaders to support effective workplace relationships and increase skill level in employee management. Acts as an escalation point for human resource issues and recommends courses of action.

- Continuous Improvement

- Review and approve budgets to support necessary human resource operational requirements

- Conduct audits and assessments to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement changes as needed Bring in industry best practices to identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the employee experience o Understand and develop cost effective strategies to improve process efficiencies and operational tasks

What experience, skills and qualifications are required:

- Masters degree in Human Resource management or a related field

- 10-15 Years of experience in HR operations or in a area with similar duties and responsibilities

- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, legal regulations and compliance requirements

- Experience with HRIS and other HR-related systems and tools

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Leadership abilities with experience in leading and developing a team

- Demonstrate results orientation, initiative and proactive style, organization & detail orientation, solid prioritization skills

- Strong project management and organizational skills
