You will be working as Junior Team Lead and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager – General Accounting and will be primarily responsible for leading a group or team focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities for an area (For example: Reporting, Consolidation, etc.) within the General Accounting (GA) team. Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies
• Performing accounting analysis and generating reports to support finance and business leaders thus facilitate decision making
• Performing month end book closing activities
• Ensuring that the group reporting is performed on time and manage the stakeholders
• Co-ordinating with Internal and External auditors
• Initiating the quality improvement initiatives in the R2R area

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
• Must have the experience in handling a team
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R)
• Must be flexible in working for any shift timings
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge in MS office
