Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Accurately input financial data into the company's accounting software.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documents.
2.Invoice Processing:
Review and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
Ensure invoices are properly coded, approved, and recorded.
3.Bank Reconciliation:
Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
4.Financial Reporting:
Prepare and generate basic financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
5.Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
6.Expense Tracking:
Track and categorize company expenses.
Assist in preparing expense reports for management.
7.Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting:
Support the finance team in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Participate in discussions and data gathering for budget development.
8.Compliance and Documentation:
Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Help with the preparation of financial documents for audits and tax filings.
9.Ad Hoc Financial Tasks:
Undertake special financial projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a finance career.
Knowledge of financial principles and basic accounting concepts is a plus.
