Essential functions
Test dirty jars upon arrival from the field with supervision or after competence training.
- Drain jars, disassemble and tag parts with supervision or after competence training. - Assemble Jars with supervision.
- Recognize faulty parts, and troubleshoot potential tool problems with supervision.
- Steam clean and wire brush all parts.
- Set torque springs with supervision.
- Fill tools with oil and pressure test with supervision.
- Test assembled jars with supervision.
- Paint and put jars in stock.
- Operate overhead crane after third party competence training.
- Maintain constant alertness for flaws in the parts and report problems to Shop Foreman or Jar Service Manager. - Replace hand tools to their proper locations.
