Job Description:
1. Infrastructure Provisioning Using Code (Automation):
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Automate resource deployment and scaling using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
2. Cloud Monitoring:
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Proactively detect and resolve issues, optimizing resource utilization.
3. AWS Networking:
- Design, configure, and maintain secure and efficient AWS network architectures.
- Establish VPN connections, VPCs, and ensure optimal data transfer and traffic routing.
4. API Gateways:
- Manage API gateway solutions to facilitate secure communication between services.
- Implement and maintain API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
5. Global Presence (24/7 Availability):
- Ensure high availability across global regions.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents promptly, 24/7.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
2. Proven experience in cloud security, CloudOps and IAM, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
4. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
5. Experience with cloud monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
6. Expertise in AWS networking and security best practices.
7. Familiarity with API gateway solutions and their configurations.
8. A commitment to maintaining a 24/7 global presence and participating in on-call rotations.
9. Industry certifications such as AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Developer Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent are a plus.
10. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
