Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Good to have skills :Red Hat OS Administration, Linux Operations

Must have Skills :AIX System Administration, SSI: NON SSI:Good to Have Skills :SSI:Linux Operations, Red Hat OS Administration NON SSI :Job Requirements :Key Responsibilities :1Respond to user/client escalations and engage functional escalation and Management escalation as required2 Manage requests incidents on ITSM tool3 Implement the changes as applicable, test the changes and handover to customer4 Prompt handling of all /incidents/problems/SRs in order to minimize the impact of incidents upon client end service quality5 Required for easy transition into role and join on-call group which is high priority6 Consequently identifies opportunities to improve operations
Technical Experience :-Good hands-on experience on AIX server administration-Deep technical knowledge in VMware virtualization version 5x or 6x Troubleshooting skills analytical skills in AIX server-Installing, Managing, Patching and upgrading AIX servers-analyzing system performance statistics and making changes to reach and maintain maximum performance-must be skilled in network infrastructure, hardware capabilities, testing protocols, and software development
