Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our influencer marketing as a service business. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing partnerships with brands, agencies, and influencers, while strategically expanding our client base. You will play a vital role in shaping and executing our business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and establish our company as a leader in influencer marketing.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive the growth of our influencer marketing as a service business.
2. Identify and prospect potential clients, including brands, agencies, and influencers, to build a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and positioning our services as a valuable solution.
4. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential areas for differentiation.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals to effectively communicate our value proposition.
6. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
7. Monitor industry developments and stay updated on emerging trends in influencer marketing, adjusting our strategies and offerings as needed.
8. Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
9. Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including account management and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in the influencer marketing or digital marketing industry.
3. Deep understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, including knowledge of key players, industry trends, and best practices.
4. Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect and engage with key decision-makers.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
6. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive deals to successful completion.
7. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
