Job Overview
As a Compliance Analyst at TE Connectivity, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our Engineering Excellence Team. Collaborating across various functions including Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and others, you'll ensure that projects meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Engineering Excellence, you'll lead the Business Unit (BU) TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) reporting and contribute to the deployment of TEOA within the BU. Your responsibilities will encompass project reporting, communication, execution of project data, resource constraint identification, and resolution while adhering to LeanPD processes.
Responsibilities
IMDS and CAMDS Management:
- Complete IMDS submission site requests and validate IMDS information quality.
- Submit final IMDS documents to customers through the database.
- Coordinate CAMDS (China) compliance.
- Provide technical compliance support for CE, UL, and China CCC standards, including process creation.
- Liaise with India Shared Services as necessary.
Data Management and Submission:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date material data in IMDS databases for all sensor components.
- Initiate and manage IMDS certification processes, collaborating with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and ELV.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about evolving environmental regulations and communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Interpret and convey regulatory requirements related to sensor products.
Supplier and Customer Coordination:
- Coordinate with component suppliers to obtain IMDS certifications.
- Submit IMDS and CAMDS declarations to customers based on engineering team requirements.
- Address customer concerns regarding IMDS certification rejections and collaborate on remediation efforts.
KPI Generation and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and maintain KPIs to measure IMDS certification and compliance progress.
- Analyze data to identify improvement areas and implement best practices for process enhancement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IMDS and CAMDS processes.
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with IMDS and CAMDS systems and environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, etc.).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results.
