Address- Support the assessment of Alcon products to ensure Alcon can demonstrate compliance to environmental regulations, maintaining design history files in PLM system and requirement traceability in ALM system.

Key Responsibilities:
Generates internal compliance reports (CMR/ED and ERA) on an ongoing basis
Acts as local process lead for Environmental Product Compliance assessments
Generates statements of compliance for Alcon s products for all pertinent environmental regulations
Supports impact and risk assessments of proposed and upcoming product-related regulations for Alcon products on the international market.
Manage the generation of SDS for new products and maintains current SDS for existing products.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- BS of Engineering with 5-8 years experience
- Some knowledge of environmental topics, particularly environmental compliance or sustainability
- Knowledge of data mining and reporting software applications (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau or similar)
- Ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, recommend and implement solutions, and deliver quality results on schedule while managing multiple tasks and customers
- Experience in Project management and data analytics
- Good interpersonal & communication skills to build positive departmental and inter-departmental relationships in a virtual, remote and asynchronous environment
- Proficiency in English-language technical and business writing.
- Technology savviness to automate simple tasks for process improvement and cycle time reduction (e.g., data queries, data analyses, documentation)
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in office/2 days work from home)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master s degree in engineering with an environmental focus
- Demonstrated experience in project management and/or process improvement
- Some leadership or supervisory experience
- Advanced English-language technical or business writing skills
- Knowledge of medical device sector
- Experience in practical application of regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with product safety data sheets (SDS)
