JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
ACCESS Health International is seeking a creative and strategic Information, Education, and
Communication (IEC) Strategist and Consultant to enhance public engagement and awareness for
the ABDM Microsite implementation in Jammu and Kashmir. This role involves developing and
executing comprehensive IEC strategies that align with the healthcare objectives of the region,
facilitating the adoption and effective use of ABDM Microsites.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- IEC Strategy Development:
- Design and implement innovative IEC campaigns to promote ABDM Microsite
services. - Tailor communication strategies to resonate with diverse local audiences in Jammu
and Kashmir. - Work closely with digital teams to create engaging multimedia content.

- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish partnerships with local media, healthcare providers, and community leaders
to disseminate information. - Organize workshops and seminars to educate stakeholders on ABDM Microsite
functionalities.

- Track the effectiveness of IEC activities and make data-driven adjustments to
strategies. - Provide regular reports on campaign performance and public engagement metrics.

- Train healthcare professionals and local communicators in effectively delivering IEC
messages. - Develop educational materials to support training initiatives.

project goals. - Liaise with government officials and ABDM Office to ensure compliance with
regulations and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Communications, Public Health, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience
A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in IEC strategy development, preferably in the public
healthcare sector.
Skills/Competencies Required:
- Proficient in creating and executing IEC campaigns, with a portfolio of past work.
- Strong understanding of the cultural and societal nuances of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of digital health initiatives and health communication best practices.
NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:
The selected candidate shall be offered a one-year contract and mutually extendable.
